Amaravati, August 13: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that Amaravati is set to become India’s “Deep Tech Capital”, following the operational inauguration of the 21.77-km Seed Access Road.
Addressing the gathering after opening the primary arterial highway and steel bridge infrastructure, Naidu remarked, “Nobody can stop Amaravati after the construction of the Seed Access Road.” He emphasized that physical road connectivity establishes a permanent foundation for the capital city’s ongoing growth.
According to the Chief Minister, the government plans to establish Amaravati as a center for advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, semiconductor research, and quantum computing, leveraging the city’s smart urban infrastructure.
Naidu noted that the physical completion of the Seed Access Road — along with major steel bridges spanning the Buckingham Canal and Kondaveeti Vagu — serves as direct evidence against past claims that characterized the capital project as mere “graphics.”
Expressing gratitude, the Chief Minister bowed in respect (Padabhivandanam) to local farming communities. He stated that their voluntary contribution of over 33,000 acres through the land-pooling scheme remains the primary pillar behind the development of the capital.
Naidu also extended his thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Government for providing financial and institutional assistance to complete core trunk infrastructure projects across the region.
