Rahul Gandhi’s Padayatra enters Andhra Pradesh

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has stepped in Andhra Pradesh on Friday, October 14th of 2022, as part of his grand Foot March ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. He has resumed his 37th Day Padayatra at Rampura in Chitradurga district of Karnataka and crossed Andhra Pradesh borders in Anantapur district.

Andhra Pradesh State Congress senior leaders N. Raghuveera Reddy and Shailajanath have led the welcoming crowd at the state borders. AP is the fourth leg in Rahul’s long march across 12 states right from the Southern edge to the northern ridge of the country.

It is known that Rahul’s 3,570 KM Bharat Jodo Yatra, which is to be culminated in Kashmir on 150th Day, has commenced in Kanyakumari of Tamil Nadu on September 7th. As of 13th October, Rahul Gandhi and his team have covered a distance of 981 KM including 658.6 KM walk on foot in three Southern States.

Most of the Padayatra is being covered on foot with exception in some portions, largely protected areas like wildlife reserves and forests such as Bandipur National Park in the Western Ghats.
